Our males are available for stud service to approved
bitches once they receive their CHIC number.
Our Requirements for Bitches Being Bred To Our Studs:
- Must be AKC registered
- Must be permanently identified by microchip or tattoo
- Must have a CHIC #
- Must be in good health
- Must have a current negative Brucellosis test (within last 30 days)
The bitch owner may choose to either pay a stud fee of
$600 or let us have 2nd pick of the litter in exchange for
stud service.
Our stud fee is non-refundable and must be paid at the time of
breeding. If less than 2 puppies are whelped, we will offer return
service on the same bitch within 1 year. We must be notified
within 70 days of breeding. All transportation costs are the
responsibility of the bitch owner(s). A signed litter registration
application will be provided upon payment of the stud fee.
If the bitch owner chooses to give us 2nd pick of the litter, we
will make our choice at 8 weeks of age, give or take 3 days. The
bitch owner may not sell or give away more than one puppy
before we take our pick. If only one puppy is born - the bitch
owner may keep the puppy and pay half of our regular stud fee
($300), or give us the puppy in exchange for a free return
breeding. We will not sign the litter registration application until
we receive our 2nd pick puppy from the litter or stud fee.
We charge an additional boarding fee of $10/day for visiting
bitches who stay longer than 7 days. If the bitch refuses to allow
the stud to breed requiring Artificial Insemination, it will be at the
bitch owner(s) expense.
