This is a legally binding contract for a deposit towards the purchase of a Beagle puppy, between the
“PURCHASER” ________________ and the “BREEDER” Laura Short.

1. I the purchaser wish to place a deposit of $300.oo (Three hundred dollars and zero cents) towards the
purchase of a _________________ [color preference] ____________ [gender preference] pet quality
beagle puppy from the breeder. My deposit will go towards the purchase price of my beagle puppy. I
understand that the only additional costs that may apply is the cost of shipping, which will depend upon
current costs of such shipping.

2. I have read the breeder’s current sales contract and agree to it in full.

3. The purchaser understands that the purchase price of the puppy will range from $800 to $1000
depending upon which puppy the purchaser chooses, and that the price on each puppy will be set by the
breeder at a price range of $800 to $1000.

4. I the purchaser, understand that my deposit will not be refunded if I change my mind about purchasing
a puppy from the breeder. The breeder reserves the exclusive right to cancel any agreement; to cancel
any request, even after the deposit and agreement is signed with no recourse. The breeder’s decision is
final with regards to the final disposition of any puppy. The breeder will give the purchaser a full refund if
the breeder chooses to cancel the contract. The buyer does not have the ability or the right to cancel any
agreements or this contract.

5. I the purchaser, have described above the color and gender Beagle puppy I wish to place a deposit
towards. I understand that if I have very specific requests that I will NOT be contacted until a puppy of my
EXACT criteria becomes available. If I am not specific I will be contacted when any puppy that meets each
of my criteria becomes available to me. I understand that I have the right to refuse any puppy that is
offered to me and choose to wait until another meeting my criteria becomes available.

6. This is a legally binding contract controlled by the laws of South Carolina. It is agreed that shall there
be any disagreements between the two parties it will be settled in Berkeley County, South Carolina. Oral
modifications to this contract shall not be permitted. In the event that the parties agree to additional
terms, these terms shall be reduced to writing, signed by both parties, and attached.
