VetGen Factor VII Info & Testing

The only way for breeders to make sure they are not
producing affected puppies is to test their breeding stock
for this disorder.

As of October 5th, 2011 - there are 22 Beagles in the OFA
database that have been tested for Factor VII Deficiency.
Of those 22 Beagles tested, 11 are clear (do not carry the
disorder), 5 are carriers, and 6 are abnormal (affected)!
This is a very high rate of incidence in our Beagles.
