Early Spay & Neuter
A-Quality Beagles, Reg'd.
All of our puppies sold as pets are spayed/neutered prior
to leaving for their new homes. We have been doing this
on all of our pet quality puppies since January 2006. So far
we have not had any adverse side affects of early
spay/neuter.

As breeders we feel responsible for insuring that any
puppies we produce who are not up to our high standards
or who are not going to a reputable breeder are
spayed/neutered prior to leaving us to help stop pet
overpopulation and eliminate the risk of our puppies being
used by breeders who only care about selling puppies and
not about bettering the Beagle breed.

We cover all expenses of the early spay/neuter of our pet
puppies, saving you the expense and work.

Our puppies are spayed/neutered as early as 8 weeks old
by our veterinarian. They return home with us that
evening and are fully healed within 5-7 days after surgery.
Male puppies will be bouncing around and trying to play
that same evening. Female puppies will be back to normal
within 24-48 hours. Depending upon whether or not you
have small children and/or a busy household will depend
upon how soon after surgery we will release your puppy
to go home with you.

Male Beagles who are neutered prior to 12 weeks of age,
generally will never lift their leg to mark. Instead they will
squat to pee, just like a female dog. This can be very
beneficial to a pet owner.

Male Beagles who are neutered early make just as clean or
cleaner house pets than females.

Female Beagles who are spayed early will not come into
heat twice a year and most will not lift their leg to mark.
