The BUYER agrees to purchase the above named & registered Beagle PUPPY for the price of $1200
(Twelve hundred dollars). The PUPPY is sold with full registration on a co-ownership between the BUYER
and the BREEDERS.
01. The BREEDERS guarantee this PUPPY to be in good health at the time of sale and meets the AKC
standard for the breed. Breeding prospect shall be understood to mean that there are no known faults as
defined in the standard evident at the time of sale and further that no genetic disorders are immediately
apparent.
02. The BUYER agrees to take the PUPPY to a licensed veterinarian of the BUYER’s choosing and at the
BUYER’s expense within 7 days of the date of sale for a health examination. Proof of such examination
must be received by the BREEDERS within 14 days of the date of sale.
03. If the PUPPY is found to be other than healthy by the BUYER’s veterinarian upon it’s first examination,
the BREEDERS must be notified by phone within 48 hours of the examination and the PUPPY returned to
the BREEDERS immediately at the BUYER’s expense and the purchase price will be refunded. The deadline
for this refund is 7 days from the date of sale.
04. If the breeding PUPPY develops any breed disqualifying faults in the AKC breed standard or develops a
hereditary condition which determine the PUPPY unfit for breeding in the Unites States of America, it will
be replaced with a puppy of the BREEDERS choice from a future litter bred by the BREEDERS if the
following conditions are met:
The condition declared, and verified in writing by a licensed veterinarian and at the BREEDERS discretion,
verification by another breeder of the BREEDERS choice to deem that the PUPPY does indeed have a fault
or faults according to the AKC breed standard.
The condition is diagnosed on or before the age of 26 months.
The PUPPY has not been used for breeding purposes before the age of 26 months.
The original owner (BUYER) of the PUPPY has not changed unless written permission of sale was granted.
Proper socialization and training has been followed.
All feeding and care recommendations have been followed.
The PUPPY must be spayed/neutered after diagnosis of faults/disqualification or hereditary condition.
BUYER to pay spay/neuter expenses. BUYER may keep spayed/neutered PUPPY. If, instead the PUPPY is
returned to the BREEDERS, BUYER will pay all transportation expenses. After all requirements have been
satisfied, the BREEDERS will replace the PUPPY with a puppy of the BREEDERS choice from a future litter
bred by the BREEDERS. BUYER is responsible for any costs involved in shipping of any PUPPY including
transportation expenses involved it the PUPPY is returned for ANY reason. This includes, but is not limited
to air charges, crates, & health certificates. PROPER NOTICE must be given before returning any puppy for
any reason to insure the BREEDERS will be able to pick up the puppy at the airport. There are no cash
refunds.
05. If for any reason on the BUYER’s part (excluding faults, disqualifications, hereditary conditions), the
BUYER is unable or unwilling to keep or take proper care of the PUPPY, the BUYER agrees to return the
PUPPY to the BREEDERS at the BUYER’s expense along with signed registration papers and health records
AT NO COST to the BREEDERS. The BUYER, the BUYER’s family, nor the BUYER’s estate/executors may
ever sell, lease, or give this PUPPY to anyone besides the BREEDERS without a written and signed
agreement from the BREEDERS. Failure to abide by this is a breach of contract. There will be no refunds.
This PUPPY can NOT be euthanized unless a medical emergency prevails without the written and signed
permission of the BREEDERS.
06. The PUPPY is sold on co-ownership between the BUYER and the BREEDERS. If/when all of the
following requirements are met the BREEDERS will sign full ownership of the PUPPY over to the BUYER:
The PUPPY is tested for Hip Dysplasia on or after the age of 24 months through either OFA or PennHip and
the results are posted in the public database of the OFA.
The PUPPY is tested for eye problems on or after the age of 12 months through CERF and the results are
posted in the public database of the OFA.
The PUPPY is tested for either Thyroid or Cardiac after the age of 12 months through OFA and the results
are posted in the public database of the OFA.
The PUPPY is tested for the above health problems and receives an individual CHIC number.
The PUPPY has not been mis-bred or purposely bred before meeting these requirements.
After the above requirements are met, the BUYER must send copies of the above documentation along with
a request for a change of ownership to the BREEDERS. Application fees for transfer of ownership are the
responsibility of the BUYER.
If the PUPPY is either mis-bred or purposely bred prior to meeting the above requirements; the BREEDERS
have the option of refusing to sign the registration papers for any resulting litters, as well as denying full
ownership status to the BUYER at a later date.
07.
FEMALES:
If the PUPPY is a female and full ownership is signed over to the BUYER, the BUYER agrees that she may
be bred a maximum of five (5) times. The female will only be bred to male dogs of the same breed who are
registered with the AKC and who have received an individual CHIC number.
The BREEDERS must be notified each time the female PUPPY is bred and offered the first right to purchase
any breeding puppy from the litter that the BUYER is not keeping for themselves.
MALES:
If the PUPPY is a male and full ownership is signed over to the BUYER, the BUYER agrees that the PUPPY
will only be bred to female dogs of the same breed who are registered with the AKC and who have
received an individual CHIC number.
The BREEDERS will be allowed to breed to the male three (3) times for no stud fee during the lifetime of
the PUPPY. These breedings will be the responsibility of the BREEDERS and all expenses associated with
these breedings will be at the cost of the BREEDERS. Each of the three stud services will be to females that
meet the above requirements and are owned, co-owned, or leased by the BREEDERS.
BOTH GENDERS:
The PUPPY will only be bred to another structurally sound male/female with the goal of producing a
structurally sound and healthy litter. In all instances the betterment of the breed and the health of the
breed will be kept in mind.
The BUYER agrees that no resulting offspring will ever be sold, leased, or given away to any pet shops, pet
stores, wholesalers, dog brokers/agents, puppy mills, backyard breeders, laboratories,; or ever given for
auctions or contests.
08. The BUYER agrees to provide acceptable health care, shelter, training, diet, & exercise for the PUPPY
in accordance with the BUYER’s local, state, & national laws.
09. The BREEDERS shall not be held responsible for the development of any disqualifying faults, diseases,
injuries, behaviors, or disorders which are due to the BUYER’s negligence.
10. The BREEDERS shall not be held responsible for acts of the PUPPY which are due to the BUYER’s
negligence.
11. The BUYER agrees to send pictures and updates of the PUPPY to the BREEDERS at regular intervals so
that the BREEDERS can see how the PUPPY matures.
12. The BUYER agrees to notify the BREEDERS of any changes of address during the PUPPY’s lifetime.
13. The BUYER agrees to register the PUPPY in the BUYER’s name and at the BUYER’s expense within 90
days of the date of sale.
14. The BREEDERS strongly recommend that the BUYER attend training classes with the PUPPY and
provide the PUPPY with proper socialization opportunities.
15. The BUYER must not at any time transport the PUPPY in a open cargo area of a vehicle. The BUYER
will never use this dog for any illegal activities including, but not limited to dog fighting. Failure of any of
the above is a breach of contract.
16. The BUYER agrees that the PUPPY will not be jumped (worked regularly in training to jump for any
reason prior to the growth plates closing at 14 months of age.

Incentive Program
The BREEDERS hereby offer the following rebates to the BUYER for training the PUPPY and attaining
recognized AKC or UKC titles in accordance with the following schedule:
Passing a temperament test (AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Star Puppy, or UKC temperament test) - $25
Obedience, Agility, Tracking, or Rally titles: AKC Companion Dog (CD), AKC Novice Agility (NA), AKC
Novice Agility Jumper (NAJ), AKC Open Agility (OA), AKC Open Agility Jumper (OAJ), AKC

Copies of the certificate(s) along with a picture must be sent to the BREEDERS and may be used in any
advertising. Payments will be made as a personal check made out to the BUYER. No PUPPY may earn more
than $100 in the Incentive Program during their lifetime from the BREEDERS except for those who qualify
for 75% off their next puppy purchase.
All other requirements of this contract at the time the PUPPY earns a title must be met in order to earn
rebates. The BREEDERS have a period of 30 days after receiving the certificate and photo to send the
BUYER their rebate check.

17. Should the BUYER violate ANY part of this contract, the BREEDERS may choose to take one of the
following actions:
Choose to be relived of all liability and void this contract. This contract would then become null & void.
Choose to repossess the PUPPY, with the BUYER paying for all court costs, transportation (of PUPPY,
BREEDERS, & attorneys), all other expenses related to the repossession, and damages as described in the
next paragraph.
If the BREEDERS repossess the PUPPY and the BUYER has violated any part of this contract, the BUYER
fully agrees to pay the BREEDERS $3,000 (Three Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents) in damages upon
written demand from the BREEDERS. It is agreed that this amount shall be binding upon the BUYER.
This is a legally binding contract controlled by the laws of South Carolina. It is agreed that shall there be
any disagreements between the two parties that it will be settled in Berkeley County, South Carolina. Oral
modifications to this contract shall not be permitted. In the event that the parties agree to additional terms,
these terms shall be reduced to writing, signed by both parties, and attached.
